Thank you for your interest in hosting An Evening with Johnnie Walker. To take part in the Johnnie Walker Mentorship Program, you need to have reached the age of majority in your province. Hosting is available in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec. You must be able to host your event within 50 km of downtown Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto or Montreal.

Individuals are invited to register to host a private scotch tasting for 15 guests (of legal drinking age).

The mentorship program is an unparalleled opportunity for guests to deepen their knowledge of Johnnie Walker, through an in-depth immersion in scotch and its history.

You begin by registering to host your own "Evening with Johnnie Walker". Once your registration is approved, the date and time of your event is confirmed, and we will assign an ambassador to conduct your special evening. This ambassador will arrive at your home or office with all the tools necessary to execute a tasting, and will guide you and your guests through an entertaining and educational experience with scotch.

All about hosting your own private scotch tasting

Learn everything you need to know about an evening with Johnnie Walker.

Johnnie Walker tastings are free of charge

 We need a two- to three-week period notice to book a tasting.

The tasting usually takes about an hour. However, it is preferred that Brand Ambassadors arrive at the location of the tasting half an hour early in order to set up and start the tasting on time.

No. Attendees will have to purchase any product from LCBO in Ontario, SAQ in Quebec or your local alcohol beverage store.

No. The Brand Ambassadors provide the glassware.

For the tastings to truly be effective and beneficial, the mentorship program is designed to accommodate a maximum of 15 guests.

If there are any last minute details you’d like to go over with the concierge (change of address, time, etc.), feel free to contact them.

However, you can inform your Brand Ambassador of any changes when they contact you closer to the date of your event, as the purpose of them contacting you is to confirm all details and to make sure they have the appropriate information. Brand Ambassadors will contact you 48 hours before your event, 24 hours before your event, and on the day of your event.

Brand Ambassadors can be fairly flexible and accommodating if you do not have a table large enough to seat all of your guests. We simply ask that all guests can fit in the same room, and there are surfaces that can be used to set up the required materials for each guest.

Johnnie Walker tastings are held in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, and Montreal.

We facilitate tastings as long as the location is within a 50 km distance from the downtown core.

Currently, Johnnie Walker is not using mentorship programs as items for charity events.

For any cancellations, kindly inform the Johnnie Walker concierge.

If you’d like to reschedule, please email the concierge as soon as possible. If you already have another date and time that is more convenient for you, inform the concierge of this as well. The concierge will check the schedule and will get in contact with you to inform you if the date requested is feasible.

We kindly ask that you have the required information confirmed at least two weeks before your event. That includes the address, time, number of guests, and dietary restrictions.
